ANNOUNCING RON RUBIN as GUEST for ATLANTICON ’25 FALL!!!
During the course of his lengthy career, Ron Rubin has definitely earned his reputation as one of the busiest animation voice actors in the country.
There were many highlights along the way, but working with the iconic Stan Lee on the original X-Men series (as Morph) and Avengers (as Vision) were two standouts. He’s currently voicing President Kelly in X-Men ’97.
Another standout was his work on the Emmy Award winning Beetlejuice, in which he created multiple characters including Doom Buggy and Flubbo.
His amazing versatility is evident when you look at his list of credits including C.O.P.S. (Dr. Badvibes), Police Academy (Lt. Mahoney), Donkey Kong Country (Kaptain Skurvy), Angela Anaconda (Uncle Nicky), Stickin’ Around (Mr. Lederhosen), SideKick (Master XOX), Mr Men and The Care Bears Movie (Messy Bear), to name just a few.
Ron has also been a dominant force in the world of Animé (Bakugan and Beyblade) but he’s probably best known for originating the voice of Artemis in Sailor Moon, a role he performed for the entire run of the North American series.
Aside from breaks, Ron will be with us all day Saturday and Sunday, and later on Friday.
